Entrepreneurship: Balancing Disruption and Consent

 

The 2017 annual meeting of the Horasis Visionary Circle was held in Seoul. Seoul is considered one of the world’s most vibrant and livable cities, resulting from an economic boom called the Miracle on the Han River. Some of the evening functions were attended by Korean Ministers and other public figures.

 

We have chosen Entrepreneurship: Balancing Disruption and Consent as the theme for the 2017 Horasis Visionary Circle as the development of entrepreneurship is vital for our future. Yet it is a disruptive activity and this needs firm leadership to nurture the consent of the people. Participants explored the transformative initiatives and partnerships crucial to create entrepreneurial societies.

 

The Horasis Visionary Circle aims to be the world’s most trusted peer-to-peer group of entrepreneurs. Membership is restricted to 25 founders of the world’s leading firms, though seeking further representation from different sectors and geographies. The Horasis Visionary Circle meets once per year at an extraordinary venue. During the meetings, we scrutinize the most pressing macro-economic, societal, geopolitical and technological issues of our time. The meeting is closed to the public and the press – privacy is key – allowing participants to speak their minds.
