Partnering for Harmony

The 2014 annual meeting of the Horasis Visionary Circle was held in Sanya on China’s tropical island Hainan. Some of the evening functions were attended by the Governor of Hainan Province and other public figures.

We have chosen Partnering for Harmony as the theme for the 2014 annual meeting of the Horasis Visionary Circle as the world urgently needs to rebuild trust in interpersonal, corporate, national and supranational governance systems if we are to shape new models of cooperation to ensure global prosperity. China, one of the world’s most dynamic economies, has focused much of its attention on promoting harmony domestically and internationally. Harmony – a key concept in traditional Chinese philosophy – results from every individual playing his part well. The theme Partnering for Harmony reflected the need for a profound call to action: What role do entrepreneurs play in confidence-building measures? How to create newly healed and healthy partnerships?

The Horasis Visionary Circle aims to be the world’s most trusted peer-to-peer group of entrepreneurs. Membership is restricted to 25 founders of the world’s leading firms, though seeking further representation from different sectors and geographies. The Horasis Visionary Circle meets once per year at an extraordinary venue. During the meetings, we scrutinize the most pressing macro-economic, societal, geopolitical and technological issues of our time. The meeting is closed to the public and the press – privacy is key – allowing participants to speak their minds.
