Young Horasis Visionaries, join our first gathering at the Horasis Global Meeting in Cascais, 28-31 March

By Yonca Braeckman, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Impact Shakers, United Kingdom

March 2, 2020

The scale of our global problems is overwhelming and requires more than ever diverse input, including experience, background and age in order to come up with successful answers. Diversity has proven to be key in any true success story.

With Young Horasis Visionaries we want to empower the young as catalysts for change. We want them to challenge and question current beliefs and solutions, but also integrate input from the more experienced in their ideas and solutions.

The opportunities a global and strong community like Horasis can offer are exceptional, but it is not always as easy to navigate. It offers excellent networking opportunities, in the mix of hundreds of participants including the CEOs of the world’s most respected corporations, key leaders from emerging markets, and public figures including heads of government, and a number of young and promising visionaries invited to engage with this incredible network. In order to extend these opportunities and maximize their impact, we launch a Young Horasis Visionaries community to harvest innovative ideas in younger generations and amplify their voices.

With the Young Horasis Visionaries we want to:

  • Prepare new generations for global impact, speaking up & principled leadership
  • Create new role models of people working to make changes all over the world
  • Connect generations and have them learn from each other
  • Help younger generations maximize their impact
  • Ensure that more edgy ideas also find a way to reach some of the world’s top decision makers.

Since the spirit of the Horasis Global Meeting is to serve as an incubator for new ideas for the years ahead, the Young Horasis Visionaries community shall be launched there.

At a first gathering of attendees interested in supporting the Young Horasis Visionaries community, we aim to work out which form it should take and what the exact goals should be.
